- All purpose Flour 2 and a half cups
- Margarine 250 grams
- Granulated Sugar 1 cup
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Hot Chocolate tea powder 2 tablespoon
- Powdered Milk 2 tablespoons
- Medium sized eggs, 5
- Flavour 1 teaspoon
- Brownie 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
- Sieve the flour and set aside
- Rub your baking pan with some vegetable oil and dust with some flour
- Add the sugar to the margarine and mix in anti clockwise direction for about 5 minutes
- Break one of the eggs and add to the sugar and butter mixture and continue to mix
- Add another egg and continue to mix
- Mix till it looks fluffy and pale yellow, about another 5 minutes
- Whisk the rest of the eggs, add and mix
- Meanwhile, invert a stainless steel container and place in the pot, cover and preheat for about 5 to 7 minutes on high heat .Note: you can also use sand, stones, or some upturned milk tins instead of the stainless container
- Add chocolate tea powder and milk powder
- Add the baking powder and a pinch of salt to the flour, mix and add
- Mix and turn as you would mix a fufu swallow
- The best consistency is when the cake batter, drops readily (lump sum) out of the spatula, not watery or too thick
- Add brownie and mix
- Pour into the prepared baking pan, and make a well in centre. Note: the cake batter should not be more than 3/4 of your pan
- Transfer to the preheated pot and bake on a low flame for about 25 to 30 minutes or till a knife or toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
- Carefully remove from the pan and transfer to the serving plate. Allow to cool before serving
