Ingredients
1 cup Corn flour (Finely ground)
1 cup Cassava flour (lafun)
2 and 1/2 cups of water
Direction
- Sieve the corn flour and cassava flour separately and set aside
- Add a pinch of salt to 2 and 1/2 cups of water and bring to boil
- Add about 3/4 cups of room temperature water to half cup of corn flour and mix till smooth
- Pour the mixture into the boiling water. Properly stir to prevent lump formation
- Allow to cook for about 2 minutes
- Pour the other half cup of dry corn flour. Stir continuously till smooth
- Cover and allow to cook for 5 minutes on low heat
- Remove from stove after 5 minutes and pour 1 cup of cassava four. Stir till smooth
- Wrap immediately in food wrapper
Servings: 2
Serve with any Nigerian soup
