Nigerian Millet Swallow

 




Ingredients

Millet Flour 1 and 1/2 cups

2 cups of water


Direction

  1. Sieve the Millet flour and set aside
  2. Add a pinch of salt to 2 cups water and bring to  boil
  3. Add about half a cup of room temperature water to 3/4 cup of millet flour, mix till fully dissolved
  4. Pour the millet mixture into the boiling water and stir. Allow to cook for few minutes or until the colour changes slightly showing it is cooked
  5. Add about 3/4 cups dry millet powder to it and stir continuously    Note: The quantity of the flour you add at this stage depends on how thick or soft you want your millet
  6. Keep stirring as you allow to cook for few minutes
  7. Wrap immediately in food wrapper
Servings: 1
Serve with any Nigerian soup
