Rice Swallow

 


Rice Swallow (Fufu)

Ingredients

1 and 1/4 cup, Rice flour

4 cups of water

Pinch of Salt

3/4 cup Cassava flour (Lafun), Optional

 

Direction

  1.  Blend the rice
  2.  Add a pinch of salt to 4 cups of water and bring to a boil
  3.  Add some water to a cup of rice flour, mix and add to the boiling water
  4.  Allow to cook for 5 minutes, then add the remaining Rice flour
  5.  Add some water and cook for about 7 minutes
  6. Its ready to be served. You can mix in some cassava flour, at this stage. This is optional.
  7.  Serve with any soup of choice
