INGREDIENTS
- All Purpose Flour 2 cups
- Margarine about 5 teaspoon
- Dry Yeast 2 teaspoon
- Salt half a teaspoon
- Granulated Sugar, 4 teaspoon
- Egg 1 medium sized
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
- Warm whole milk, one-third of a cup
DIRECTION
- Seive Flour, and add other dry ingredients
- Add the wet ingredients
- Knead on a floured-sprinkled surface for about 10 minutes
- Transfer to a Greased bowl, cover and let it rise till doubled or for about an hour in a warm place
- After the first rising, transfer to a surface sprinkled with flour and knead a little
- Spread to about 1/4 inch thickness and cut into donut shapes
- Cover and allow to rise in warm place for about 20 minutes
- Deep fry about 2 Minutes on both sides
- You can coat with some granulated sugar, if desired
